Erin Brookman founded her design studio in 2008, following several years working in flooring, soft furnishings, and decorating. She holds a Diploma in Interior Design from Christchurch Polytechnic (2003), and spent the early part of her career building a solid foundation in both the creative and practical sides of interior work.

Erin works across residential and commercial projects—from new builds to renovations—often teaming up with architects, builders, and local makers to bring everything together.  Her background gives her an eye for detail and a strong grasp of how materials, layout, and atmosphere combine to create beautiful, functional spaces.

A background in performing arts and a love of travel inspire Erin’s creativity, while a degree in counselling adds depth to her understanding of how spaces influence the way we live and feel. She brings warmth, insight, and a collaborative spirit to every project.
