Erin Brookman Interiors Studio is an Interior Design studio based in Christchurch focused on creating homes that feel stylish, personal, and comfortable to live in. Founded in 2008, the studio has developed a reputation for its thoughtful and practical approach to helping clients shape spaces they truly love. Erin’s process is relaxed, collaborative, and full of intention. She works closely with clients to create spaces that are not only beautiful, but also meaningful,
functional, and truly personal. Erin takes time to get to know how you live, what you love, and what you need from your home. Whether it’s a full renovation or a refresh with new furnishings, she’s there to guide you through decisions, bring creative ideas to the table, and make sure all the details come together beautifully. Erin Brookman
Erin Brookman started her design studio in 2008, after several years working across flooring, soft furnishings, and decorating. She gained her Diploma in Interior Design from CPIT in 2003, and spent the early part of her career building a solid foundation in both the creative and practical sides of interior work.
Erin works on a mix of new builds, renovations, and furnishing projects—often teaming up with architects, builders, and local makers to bring everything together. Her background gives her a sharp eye for detail and a strong grasp of how materials, layout, and atmosphere all come together to create a space that really works.
Erin’s background in performing arts and love of travel bring a creative spark to her work, along with a real appreciation for how people express themselves through their homes. In 2023 she completed a counselling degree, which has added another layer to her understanding of how our environments impact how we feel and live day to day. She’s always learning and growing—and brings that energy into every project.
